An evening at Missoula Outdoor Cinema

Important Summer 2020 Announcement

To protect the community, volunteers, and staff the NMCDC has made the tough decision to cancel the 2020 season of the Missoula Outdoor Cinema.  With so much unpredictability and so many unknowns we decided that this was the right, if disheartening choice, to make.  If this is an event that you love, would have attended, and would have purchased popcorn during a movie, please consider making a donation to the NMCDC so we can continue to take care of our community and bring you an awesome 2021 season.

With a trial weekend in the summer of 2002, MOC was enormously well-attended from the start. The season has grown to fill every weekend of July and August, and the positive energy and community support of the first season continues each summer.

A Missoula Event

MOC means summer in Missoula.

Missoulians from across town often arrive long before the show begins, watching their children play in the schoolyard, catching up with friends, and setting up their blankets and lawn chairs. They slowly settle into their spots and curl up to watch the show, snacking on MOC treats or homemade picnic dinners.

Each year, the NMCDC strives to bring you an eclectic mix of new, classic, children’s, independent, and perfect date night films. This year’s summer line up TBA.

Things to Remember

  • Please leave pets and alcohol at home.
  • After the movie please be respectful of the neighborhood and exit the area quietly.
  • Help us clean-up the area and pick-up your trash as you depart.
  • Your donations help us bring movies to the neighborhood and the support the community efforts of the NMCDC.
