Education and Mentoring

During the warmer months of the school year homestead staff collaborate with local schools and organizations to offer field trips and workshops. The homestead works with the Missoula County Public Schools offer a sponsorship program for public school visits. Contact the homestead caretaker at 728-9269 or moonrandolph@montana.com to arrange a tour for your class or organization.

A summer youth mentoring program (a joint project with Youth Homes, Inc.) fosters creativity and responsibility through work projects and hands-on learning. Every summer, participants in the InnerRoads Wilderness Therapy Program spend several weeks in residence at the homestead while they volunteer on-site and in the community.
