Burns Street Commons Homes Now Available!

The North Missoula Community Development Corporation is pleased to announce the near completion of new Community Land Trust homes at Burns Street Commons! Located on the upper Westside, these homes are available to first-time homebuyers earning less than 80 percent of the area median income.

Each of the seventeen homes comes with a stove, refrigerator, and energy-star rated dishwasher. Floor coverings consist of eco-friendly FLOR carpet squares and Marmoleum in modern, vibrant colors. All homes are built with energy heels for added insulation and windows are energy-star rated as well. A central boiler heating system provides low-cost, comfortable heat.

The Human Resource Council (HRDC) has zero-percent, no-payment, 2nd mortgage funds allocated to each unit. Please see chart for disbursement. Repayment of HRDC loan occurs when you resell your house. Because of these funds the amount of loan you need to purchase the home is lower than the actual price of the home.

Each home qualifies for a 5.5 percent mortgage through the Montana Board of Housing.
